Projects

Tamar Mining Group (previously Tamar Moles) have extensively explored the mines of the Tamar Valley and less so mines further afield. Past explorations have included (amongst many others) Bedford Consols, the Tavistock Canal Tunnel Mines, William and Mary, Wheal Crowndale, Devon Great Consols and Wheal Russel.

 Although there are various smaller mini-projects in the pipeline, Tamar Mining Group only has one active project at the moment - not surprisingly this is;

   A.   A Dig

   B.   In a Mine

   C.   Has a railway in it

The location is a gated adit level in a well known Tamar Valley Mine. After an aborted dig in a higher level (catastophic timber failure) the group has moved lower and installed a railway to aid transport of materials in and spoil out.
